OPINION ON IJMB: 7 Factors That Can Make IJMB Students To Fail

IJMB FACTORS:

Today we are digging underlying factors why students fail IJMB examination. These factors are channels and sources of failure in IJMB examination. Students need to be equipped and prepared on what to look out for to avert academic disaster. There are 7 factors that will be looked into critically in this article.

1.UNRESTRAINED SOCIAL FACTORS/PRESSURE

Relating with our environment can be very devastating if caution is not applied . Some students come out of a very cultured homes and well nurtured but the drama begin to change when the hustle and bustle of social emerge which include clubbing, partying, drinking, and frolicking with girls. most students are manipulated by friends in the school because of the pleasure and the distractions that come along with it.

2.THE RELIGIOUS FACTOR

Religion is a way of following and worshipping God, it’s a personal relationship with God. Students especially the holy than thou’ forsake the gathering of other students like lectures, practical class etc.to attend programmes, revival which is not there primary motive of coming for IJMB. they pray and fast but fail to read they have forgotten God bless the work of their hands. ignorance is a major virus to academic success. seek to know read and develop yourself. A religious person should be a shining light, an example for others to follow. you should read to the extent people should ask you what’s the secret.

3.SHORTCUT AND MACHINERY SYNDROME

It’s a phenomenon where student look for expo master and illegal and illicit access to question and answer in exchange for money. this students from day one have decided that they are not writing their exam but will be helped by someone. They waste their time doin all sorts of extra-curricular things like joining unnecessary groups, looking for money, watching balls. etc.

4. THE FEAR FACTOR

This category of people never believe themselves at any point of the programme. they are the doubting thomas’ and the grasshoppers thinkers. ‘oh they say IJMB is a devil, we cant make it, don’t even go there ,don’t aim high, don’t think big. They have hundreds of reasons why the exam is not going to work out. they have been bombarded with lies that they should forget it they cant make it.

5. SMARTNESS AND SHARPNESS

Smartness is an advantage anywhere you find yourself. some students are snail-like and crawly in attitude and way of life. they are never smart at anything. before the exam during the exam and after the exam. they dont forecast before time, they don’t draw plans during the programme. and even during the exam they are clumsy and don’t know how to network in the exam hall. increase your smartness everywhere it’s an advantage.

6. NON-COMPREHENSION OF COURSE

Some students don’t understand what they are doing at all. they cram everything without understanding what they are doing. the course content is hazy and vague to them. The subject outlines is not clear to them and they find it difficult to learn and lean on the brilliant ones. IJMB are not straight forward question, you need to decode the question before you answer.

7. TIME WASTING AND PROCRASTINATION

Time is life and precious. time spent can never be recovered. most students see that period of 8 month as eight years. they procrastinate the necessary processing ,planning, preparation till late and rush hour, you cant achieve much with this kind of lifestyle. Remember as ‘you lay your bed you lie on it’ if you are in this category there is still hope for you.
